Révfülöp is situated on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, in the Balaton Uplands, at the gateway to the Káli Basin. It is one of the region’s popular, friendly, family-oriented holiday resorts, which has preserved its authentic Balaton atmosphere. Since Révfülöp and its surroundings offer opportunities for both peaceful relaxation and active recreation, it is a perfect location for any excursion, holiday, or event. The region offers a wealth of useful, interesting, and entertaining programs and attractions in every season, guaranteeing that no age group will be bored. This region invites relaxation all year round; it is calm and quiet in winter, awakens in spring, bustles in summer, but truly comes alive in autumn.

Révfülöp’s main attraction is, of course, Lake Balaton, with its two popular bathing spots: Szigeti Beach and Császtai Beach. Besides swimming and sunbathing, Révfülöp and its surroundings invite you to countless water sports (sailing, boating, fishing) and leisure activities. In addition to the buffets operating on the beaches, you’ll find a pleasant row of snack bars at the Révfülöp pier, where you can, of course, find everything from hake and french fries to lángos and sausage combos. After dinner, we suggest a leisurely stroll to the pier, where you can sample the offerings of several ice cream parlors, and children can enjoy a playground and arcade games. Since 2011, the Révfülöp pier has also been the filming location for the “Balatoni Nyár” (Balaton Summer) TV show.

In Révfülöp, it’s worth taking a stroll through the charming, Mediterranean-feeling streets and then through the forest to the Fülöp-hegyi Kilátó (Fülöp Hill Lookout Tower), from where, without exaggeration, the most beautiful panorama of Lake Balaton’s northern shore unfolds before you. If this hike proves too short for anyone, there are plenty of wonderful attractions to choose from in the Káli Basin, through which you can also explore the magnificent Balaton Uplands. Towns rich in sights include: Kővágóörs, Kékkút, Salföld, Mindszentkálla, Szentbékkálla, Köveskál, Balatonhenye, Monoszló. You can even take a bicycle tour, a Révfülöp-Kővágóörs-Köveskál-Szentbékálla-Mindszentkálla-Salföld-Ábrahámhegy-Balatonrendes-Révfülöp loop, which is not too strenuous, about a 30-kilometer, full-day interesting program.
